Description
The Blizzard is inspired by a real-life winter storm that occured in Mississippi on January 21st, 2025. The storm in question was a large snowstorm, accumalating 8-inches of snow, in an area that has never seen snow before. The work is written to be abrasive for your FULL OR STRING orchestra, with constant syncopation to throw your ensemble off! The music is just as rewarding as challenging, however, to where your FULL OR STRING orchestra will enjoy the difficult rhythyms. I hope your ensemble enjoys The Blizzard by Wesley Besancon.
